One fastening, three lines

Why a removable panel should change a silhouette—not merely decorate it.

Modularity only matters when the garment remains convincing in every state. The Axis fastening began as a way to alter balance: closed, the jacket reads as a single diagonal; released, the panel extends the line; removed, the jacket becomes deliberately spare.

Each anchor sits inside an existing seam so the jacket never looks unfinished. The panel carries its own weight rather than pulling the body cloth, and the brushed fitting is quiet enough to sit beside tailoring rather than sports hardware.

The result is not three costumes. It is one reliable jacket with three useful attitudes—and fewer pieces asking for space in the wardrobe.
